2D Animator for Animated Teen Drama YT Channel

Job: 2d animator

The Company is a dynamic, innovative, and ever-evolving company that operates primarily in the social media landscape. Over the past few years, we have established several incredible brands and continue to grow at an accelerated pace. We aim to produce varied content to delight and engage millions of viewers in a host of popular niches, while also building a hub of talented creatives that thrive in a fast-moving, rewarding, and collaborative environment.

You will be asked to animate a 10-seconds segment PAID animation trial.

Be as creative as possible! We want to see your distinct style.

Here are some styles:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-mQWnnU1-zgqKDai_eBZfIRPe8hIoh1K?usp=sharing

We NEED the style to look very similar, or else we can’t proceed with hiring.

Notes:

  • Each frame should be different from the other (shouldn’t be similar). Like a new frame shouldn’t be just a change of where the arm is)
  • We need some moving backgrounds for each frame in case it’s hard to make it entertaining in the post-production
  • We need more facial expressions in the story
  • Instead of plain backgrounds, we need patterned backgrounds
  • Movements always need to happen when where is a “verb” used in the story
  • Preferably use as many closes up facial expressions as you can
  • Use swoosh animation movements
  • In case it’s hard to keep the character moving, try to add movement to hair and arms more

Here are examples of our vibe for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIBGfO0H-rQ&ab_channel=StoryTimeAnimated
